The student-led New Jersey Interventional Radiology Symposium (NJIRS) Planning Committee, in partnership with the medical student radiology and IR organizations from CMSRU, Hackensack-Meridian SOM, NJMS, RowanSOM, and RWJMS will be hosting our third annual conference, the New Jersey Interventional Radiology Symposium.

The inception of this conference was derived from a need felt both in New Jersey and across the country to expose medical students to IR. The mission of our annual IR symposium is to share our passion for interventional radiology with our peers while engaging them in a fun and interactive discussion with leaders in the field.

Registration closes on 2/1/21 at 11:55 PM

R. Harrison

The 3rd Annual NJ IR Symposium has been organized by a New Jersey student-led group in partnership with the medical student IR organizations from all 5 New Jersey medical schools. We hope to showcase the best it has to offer.

The inception of this conference was derived from a need felt both in New Jersey and across the country to expose medical students to IR. The mission of our annual IR symposium is to share our passion for interventional radiology with our peers while engaging them in a fun and interactive discussion with leaders in the field.

The 3rd Annual NJ IR Symposium will be held virtually and will feature speakers, panels, and ample networking opportunities. This year’s speakers and honored-guests will be coming in from Columbia, Cooper, Jefferson, Mount Sinai New York, Rutgers, University of Pennsylvania, University of Maryland, Weill Cornell, and private practice. They will discuss several emerging topics in IR such as Biodesign in IR, interventional oncology, and residency pathways. Interactive exhibitions by leading technology companies in IR will be showcased at the event. An educational case competition will be open to all medical students and will provide them with the opportunity to share interesting cases.
